Jake comes from a family of entrepreneurs, with ventures ranging from his dad’s craft brewery to his uncle’s fourth-generation metal fabrication company. This instilled in him a passion for business, leading him to pursue a career that combined his skills with his desire to help others.

Jake’s journey spans various roles, including a comprehensive rotational program at Dick’s Sporting Goods and subsequently joining West Star Aviation’s Finance Operations team. At West Star Aviation, Jake's passion for collaborating with people from diverse personal, professional, and educational backgrounds in a small business setting was ignited. Most recently, at UHY Corporate Finance, he led M&A engagements in the lower middle market, partnering with family- and entrepreneur-owned businesses to help navigate the variety of challenges small businesses must contend with and the emotional journey owners face throughout the lifecycle of their organization.
